Experience Proteus
Be guided by Proteus’ owner or winemaker/resident sommelier through one of the estate vineyard blocks to consider how the local geology, soils and sustainable vine health practices endow the traditions and philosophies central to our process.
Make a brief stop in the winery to appreciate how small scale wine production differs from large commercial winery operations. Then, from our picturesque deck,savor a flight of current releases, delve further into what connects art and science in the glass, and enjoy convivial, diverse conversations with other enthusiasts visiting Willamette Valley wine country.
Our hope is that this unique and very personal tasting approach be fun, memorable and leave you confidently more informed in the unfolding enigma that is wine.
Experience Proteus is limited to tastings by appointment throughout the year, with reservations essential for the 90-minute visit. Wines can be purchased on-site, with shipping available.
