Ramato

Current Vintage: 2023. A charming example of dry rose + copper-hued wine of Pinot Gris macerated on its skins. This is one of our flagship wines, coming from thick-skinned Pinot Gris grapes growing at the highest-altitude block in our vineyard near the summit of the Chehalem Mountains. Apricot aromas mingle with nectarine flesh & peach-pit, salty minerality, tangerine skin & saffron spice character.

Ramato + Food = A unique trip to a Moroccan bazaar…scents of exotic spices, sun-ripened and dried fruits, or rich meat stews of the eastern Med. Perfect accompaniment to tajines, saffron-scented cous-cous and fish seasoned with sumac and ground almonds. Also wonderful with grilled poultry and grilled or bitter greens.
